Manchester Unlocked, this guy is a genuine craftsman, i was left with a none running vehicle by a so called expert who diagnosed faulty key, then said faulty battery and then blamed faulty starter, all these components had not failed. I then had to get my vehicle recovered home. I rang a few companies who didn't want to take it on after someone else had made a mess of it. I called Carl @ Mcr Unlocked and explained , he arranged to attend at my home, I recognised that this guy knew what he was doing within minutes, he set about finding out what the other guy had managed to corrupt and damage and disassembled, repaired and rebuilt everything until I finally had my car back up and running and able to lock securely. I cannot recommend Carl ( MANCHESTER UNLOCKED) Enough. This guy has the knowledge, the equipment and the skill and tenacity in heaps and his bill was less than his initial quote. Thanks again Carl. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Bernard Ryan, in Wigan.Posted on Google![]()

Great service, messaged on Sunday evening and Carl got back to me straight away, agreed a fob replacement the next morning. Carl arrived on time, was very polite and the cost was around a third of the dealer price and of course came to me. A missing BMW key in Sale
The owner of this 2020 BMW 5 Series had a key go missing. Replacing it was part of the job, but dealing with the old key’s electronic authorisation mattered too. Knowing that a key is unaccounted for can leave you uneasy even after you have a new one in your hand.
I attended the job in Sale, Trafford M33, and carried out the replacement key work. A new original BMW key was supplied and added to the vehicle. The old key was deleted from the electronic system as part of the same job.
The customer was happy with the result, and the work was completed quickly. There is no fixed time or price attached to this case study: another BMW needs checking on its own details before a quote and arrangements can be confirmed.
A new original BMW key supplied
This job used a new original BMW key. A replacement fob is more than a similar-looking casing: the key must be appropriate for the car and added correctly to its key system. For this 5 Series, the work involved the BMW BDC3 system.
If you are enquiring about a replacement, send the registration, model year and current location. Tell me whether any other working key is available. A missing-key enquiry can mean different things, so it helps to explain exactly what you have rather than assume it is an all-keys-lost job.

Deleting the old key from the electronic system
The missing key was deleted from the car’s electronic key system. That was an important part of this visit: the customer wanted the replacement arranged and the unaccounted-for key addressed, rather than simply adding another key and leaving the old one authorised.
Electronic key deletion and mechanical lock changes are different jobs. Removing a key’s electronic authorisation does not mean its metal emergency blade has changed shape or that the vehicle’s door lock has been replaced. If a key was lost close to your car, or with information identifying your address, explain that when you call so any further concerns can be discussed.
There is no need to post your documents or address in a public comment. Contact Manchester Unlocked directly with the relevant details.
Working with the BDC3 system
This 2020 BMW 5 Series used BDC3. The key work was carried out for that vehicle’s system, with the new original key added and the missing key removed from electronic authorisation.
The model badge and year are a useful starting point, but they do not justify assuming every BMW needs identical parts or procedures. When asking about your own car, provide the registration and describe what has happened. Mention any previous work or known faults so the enquiry reflects the actual situation.

BMW key help in Sale, Trafford
Manchester Unlocked provides a mobile auto locksmith service. For a car in Sale or elsewhere in Trafford M33, send its location along with the vehicle details and key situation. Mention any gates, parking restrictions or access arrangements before booking.
Have your identity and vehicle ownership or authorised-use documents available. If the car is leased or belongs to a business, let me know so the appropriate arrangements can be discussed. If you think the missing key was stolen, explain that too.
This visit ended with a new original BMW key added, the old key deleted electronically and a satisfied customer. If you are facing a similar problem, a direct conversation is the best starting point for deciding what your own vehicle needs.
