Manchester Unlocked, this guy is a genuine craftsman, i was left with a none running vehicle by a so called expert who diagnosed faulty key, then said faulty battery and then blamed faulty starter, all these components had not failed. I then had to get my vehicle recovered home. I rang a few companies who didn't want to take it on after someone else had made a mess of it. I called Carl @ Mcr Unlocked and explained , he arranged to attend at my home, I recognised that this guy knew what he was doing within minutes, he set about finding out what the other guy had managed to corrupt and damage and disassembled, repaired and rebuilt everything until I finally had my car back up and running and able to lock securely. I cannot recommend Carl ( MANCHESTER UNLOCKED) Enough. This guy has the knowledge, the equipment and the skill and tenacity in heaps and his bill was less than his initial quote. Thanks again Carl. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Bernard Ryan, in Wigan.Posted on Google![]()

Great service, messaged on Sunday evening and Carl got back to me straight away, agreed a fob replacement the next morning. Carl arrived on time, was very polite and the cost was around a third of the dealer price and of course came to me. I'd highly recommend.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. A Copart Ford Focus with no keys and an active alarm
The vehicle was a 2019 Ford Focus with a smart key system, bought through Copart car auctions. By the time we attended in Eccles, all keys were lost and the alarm was active.
This was an all-keys-lost job, rather than a request to copy a working spare. With no existing key to use, the missing smart key and the active alarm both formed part of the situation we had to work with.
The vehicle
2019 Ford Focus with a smart key.
The problem
All keys lost, with the alarm active.
The location
The work took place in Eccles on a car from Copart auctions.

Replacement smart key work in Eccles
We carried out the replacement smart key job for this Focus in Eccles today. Auction cars can leave the buyer with a few things to sort out before they can use the vehicle; in this case, the missing keys were the reason for our visit.
If you're in a similar situation, let us know whether you have any working keys and whether the alarm is sounding. Those details help us assess the job before arranging a visit. It's also useful to have the registration, the car's current location and your purchase documents to hand.

Tell us what you've got before booking
A missing key doesn't tell the whole story. The model, year, key type and condition of the vehicle all matter when planning replacement work. Tell us about any known faults as well as the missing keys, so we can discuss the right next step for your car.
For an auction vehicle, we'll explain which ownership or authorisation documents are needed. You can send the vehicle details by WhatsApp or call to talk the job through directly.

All keys lost or just a missing spare?
When you call about a Ford Focus key replacement, one of the first things we'll ask is whether there is still a working key. It is an easy detail to overlook, especially if you've only just collected the car and are trying to work out what came with it.
A spare-key enquiry starts with a usable key already in your possession. An all-keys-lost enquiry starts without one. This Focus fell into the second category, so the customer needed help with the whole missing-key situation rather than simply adding another key for convenience.
If a seller or auction listing mentions a key, check what you actually received with the vehicle. A key that is missing, damaged or unable to operate the car should be described clearly when you contact us. That gives us a much better starting point than just the make and model.
Why mention an active alarm?
The active alarm was a key detail of this Eccles job. If your car is in the same situation, tell us when you first get in touch. You don't need to diagnose the cause yourself; just explain what the car is doing and whether you have any key available.
It helps to distinguish an alarm that is sounding from a vehicle that simply won't respond to a remote. Let us know if the car has been standing for a while, whether you know of any battery issues and whether there are other faults reported by the seller. These are details to discuss, rather than reasons to assume every auction car needs the same work.
Arranging help for an auction car in Eccles
If you've bought a vehicle from Copart, tell us where it is currently located. The auction it came from and the place where the locksmith work is needed may be different. For this job, the work took place in Eccles.
When enquiring, send the registration, make, model and year, together with a short description of the key problem. Mention any access restrictions at the vehicle's location so we can discuss arrangements before a visit. If you're unsure what type of key the car uses, say so rather than guessing.
Keep your purchase paperwork available. We'll explain the documents needed to establish ownership or authorisation for the work. Sending vehicle details first also gives us a chance to discuss the scope of the job and a quote before you book.
You can call Manchester Unlocked on 07515 603427 or send the details by WhatsApp. Whether you've lost your own keys or bought a car with none supplied, a clear description helps us give you a useful answer.
